Chicago market, is looking for a Research & Development Director of Systems and Electronics.
Reporting to the VP, R&D at the Corporate Technology Center, this person will lead a direct
team in the areas of mechatronics and systems engineering, electromechanical systems,
electronics hardware, embedded software, sensors and control systems, application software and
communication systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as a point functional leader and work closely with VP

Requirements
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or other
related field is HIGHLY preferred.
10+ years experience in electronics, mechanical design and
software development (concepts to manufacturing) with at
least 5+ years experience in a managerial role.
Experience in a Top 250 company in a disciplined product
development environment (vs. Global Research Center
and/or Tech Center) preferred.
Demonstrated experience leading high performing technical
teams.
Cradle to grave experience in R&D, commercialization,
and product development (concept/design/manufacture).
Training in application of Quality and Statistical systems
engineering best practice including use of Design for Six
Sigma preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. This
position requires frequent interaction with internal clients –
various business units, external customers, suppliers, and

POSITION SUMMARY:
IAT-II (CompTIA Security+) Required.

Coordinates and monitors sensitive aspects of the DOD, DOE, or other industrial security program, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Protects classified government information and publishes security awareness for all cleared corporate personnel. Develops and implements security procedures in coordination with government agencies and management personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implements policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss.

Evaluates, maintains and/or operates policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and materials.

Develops and implements policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, candidates for employment, and other persons having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information, materials, or work sites.

Works to determine who should have classification authority and reviews plans for document and access controls, transmission of sensitive information and materials, and related information controls and safeguards.

Conducts surveys of industrial or other private facilities to determine the organizations eligibility to work with and store classified and sensitive information.

Orients contractors to the security program and assists in initiating the measures necessary to bring a facility up to established standards.

Develops security plans including, but not limited to, access to grounds by employees, vendors, Government personnel, and others; badge and pass systems; and clearance records and controls.

Works to resolves issues with industry officials involving security plans and makes adjustments based on costs, alternative methods available, other security programs in place, and similar considerations.

May conduct training programs to make facility personnel aware of security matters and procedures and to alert them to dangers of espionage and sabotage.

Provides advice and guidance to less experienced staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience. Also requires the ability to obtain a security clearance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.

Description of Duties:

This position directly supports NASA's Constellation Program and the KSC Ground Operations Project Office. The position will support NASA in planning for ground operations processing of the Orion spacecraft from Pre-DD250 to launch.

• Develop, in coordination with other agencies and offices, nominal and contingency Orion ground operations Functional Flow Block Diagrams and timelines that support Ground Operations Planning Documents and integrated milestones timelines

• Develop and maintain a database of Pre-DD250 Orion Configuration data prior to turn-over to KSC Ground Operations

Description of Duties:

This position directly supports NASA's Constellation Program and the KSC Ground Operations Project Office. The position is responsible for Orion CM Recovery. The successful candidate will assist in development of the Orion CM landing and recovery plans for nominal operations. CM water landings are currently targeted. CM recovery activities will begin with cost-effective planning and staging of assets and followed by the actual execution from splashdown to preparation for transport back to the post-landing processing facility.

* Identify cost, schedule, and technical requirements for locating, safing and recovery of the Orion CM after landing to include handling the potential residual toxic propellants and preparing the spacecraft for shipment after successful removal of the crew and time sensitive cargo.

* Develop technical requirements for Orion post-landing operations, to include: safe astronaut egress, safe crew module recovery, and preparation for transporting the crew module back to the post-landing processing facility.

* Trade studies will be conducted to optimize the safe recovery of the Orion CM to include assessing ground system equipment and recovery platforms. Solutions will be developed to maximize safety and mission assurance while minimizing life cycle cost.

14. Medical Instructors (CONUS)
NEK requires Medical Instructors for an awarded contract. First rotation needed to start the first week of January 2010. This position requires competency in computer forensics, electronic discovery, and information security and the ability to perform a variety of highly technical procedures in the collection, processing, preservation, analysis and presentation of computer-related intelligence in support of unique asymmetric operations intended for Special Operations, Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, Count er Intelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) personnel conducting counterterrorism operations, force protection activities, interrogations, and criminal investigations.
The candidate for this position must be able to:
- Conduct computer forensic intelligence operations and prepare detailed intelligence reports; confer with client leadership and provide instruction on proper forensic tactics, techniques and procedures.
- Perform comprehensive technical forensic analysis of computer-related evidence such as magnetic media storage devices (floppy disks, hard disks, CDs, DVDs, memory cards), network data, and various other sources.
- Conduct technical analysis of various data platforms utilizing experience and knowledge of a wide variety of advanced computer technologies.
- Participate in identifying and recommending methods and procedures for exploitation operations, intelligence preservation, recovery, and presentation.
- Develop training materials and conduct training classes in support of tailored client requirements.
Requirements:
- Current Top Secret Clearance or a current Secret with the ability to obtain a TS.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience. - Industry certifications such as EnCE or CCE (or ability to certify within 3 months) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use industry-leading computer forensics tools such as EnCase, FTK, and Talon.
- Previous experience using cell phone forensics and exploitation equipment.
- Strong research, analytical and writing skills; and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an extremely fast-paced asymmetric environment with rapidly changing work assignments and priorities.
